What is evolve?

Evolve is the name given to the group of businesses
who are promoting the concept of a Business Improvement
District (BID) for Eastbourne's town centre

The principle aim of evolve Eastbourne is to promote facilitate and advance the BID area as a better place to invest, work, do business and visit. Evolve is the name given to the group of businesses who are promoting the idea of a Business Improvement District for Eastbourne’s town centre.

This is a great opportunity for individual, small, medium and large businesses in Eastbourne to keep going – and growing in preparation for the opening of the town centre regeneration scheme and beyond.

evolve Eastbourne believe that the principles of a Business Improvement District will empower businesses to determine the future for their trading benefit.

Every shop or business from sole trader to major retailer has a role to play in this idea as it will be created by town centre businesses, paid for by town centre businesses, spent by town centre businesses and managed by town centre businesses.
